I. Stephanie Boyce’s journey is one of resilience, purpose, and trailblazing leadership. As the first person of colour and first Black President of the Law Society of England and Wales, she broke barriers and redefined what leadership looks like in one of the world’s most established professions. But her story is about more than titles , it’s about the power of perseverance, self-belief, and using every challenge as an opportunity to rise.
Growing up, Stephanie witnessed the impact of race, class, and social barriers and the determination of a family that refused to be defined by them. Those early lessons shaped her belief that success isn’t reserved for the privileged few, but earned by those who PUSH: Persevere Until Something Happens. What began as her personal mantra has evolved into a framework for resilience, a practical, teachable approach that empowers individuals and organisations to push through adversity, unlock potential, and lead with purpose.
